IONIGHT has its first CTI project!

IONIGHTs first CTI (Commission for Technology and Innovation) project for the development of a miniature fibre laser system is currently accepted (October, 2014) by the board of CTI. The miniature high-tech laser system is part of IONIGHTs technology program for the development of the future portable LMSTM system. The project has a duration of 2 years and will start at the end of 2014.  IONIGHT collaborates with the Laser Physics Group (Institute of Applied Physics), Space Research and Planetary Sciences Division (Physics Institute), and the NCCR PlanetS Group at the University of Bern, Switzerland, representing the academic partner of this project.
